Using dental floss

Dental floss is very effective in cleaning the area between adjacent teeth. Normally a tooth brush  would not reach this area, even with very diligent cleaning.

Ideally, flossing should be done at least once per day.

The process is time consuming since the floss has to be unravelled from the fingers and re-threaded under the wire between each adjacent pair of teeth.

Using a “floss threader” can make the process a bit easier.
