When should I seek an orthodontic consultation?

You do not need a referral to see an Orthodontist. If  you want an orthodontic assessment of your own or your child’s mouth, you can just ring up an Orthodontist and make an appointment for a consultation.

However, the majority of patients seen by most Orthodontists would have been referred by their family Dentist or the school Dentist.
